Guided Walks

Organised Walks in Suffolk

If you are new to walking or want to join a group of like-minded people then there are plenty of walking groups to choose from. The Ramblers' Association and their associated Suffolk walking groups all welcome visitors, so even if you are here for a short time you will be sure of a warm welcome. Local Ramblers' Association groups are located in Alde Valley, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Stour Valley and Waveney and District.

Ipswich Outdoor Group is an independent walking and cycling group with 90 members, formed in 1974, and afilliated to the Youth Hostels Association. Their programme is full and varied with regular day or evening walks and cycle rides in the local area.

The Stour Walking Group is an under-40's group, based in and around Sudbury and the Stour Valley. Their programme includes day walks of various lengths in Suffolk through spectacular countryside, as well as weekends away.
