Plan your Trip to Suffolk
Suffolk is very accessible by road. The A12, A14, A11 and A140 will all bring you into the heart of Suffolk, with lots to see along the way.
You can also travel to Suffolk via coaches from the Midlands, London and the southeast. You can find more information on the National Express website.
There are regular trains to many destinations in Suffolk from London with Greater Anglia, and from the Midlands with East Midlands. You can also find more information about rail services on the National Rail website.
Ferries from Holland travel daily to nearby Harwich International Port, and it's then just a short journey up the A12 to us.
Suffolk is one of very few counties in England that don't have a motorway, however it is still easy to navigate with the A11, A12, A14 and A140 providing the main routes through the county. The scenic A1120 Tourist Route also connects Stowmarket and Yoxford, via many visitor attractions and through beautiful countryside.
By public transport
Suffolk is well served with rail connections and bus links, and Suffolk on Board website has lots of guidance, timetables and live updates to help you get around.
