Barking and Back Again

Starting at Needham Market, this 5.5 mile (9 km) circular route takes you through ancient woodlands, along footpaths, field edges and pavements to ‘Barking and back again’.

Needham Market, with its medieval high street with many original timber framed buildings behind brick facades and its Victorian station which opened in 1849, is a perfect location for walking. Don’t miss the River Gipping footpath, Priestly Wood and ‘The Causeway’ with its links to the plague of 1663-65.
