A 6 mile circular walk starting from Boxford playing field. The Tour of Edwardstone & Groton walk guides you north of the village to the neighbouring village of Edwardstone and the Church of St Mary the Virgin.

The leaflet features 3 walks of varying distances.  Boxford straddles the River Box, a tributary of the Stour. Boxford grew prosperous on the proceeds of the medieval wool trade, and the wealthy merchants lavished money on St Mary’s Church and other attractive timber-lined buildings that still line the village centre today.
