This easy going walk follows the seafront beyond Old Felixstowe, past colourful beach huts and historic Martello Towers towards Felixstowe Ferry.

There are superb views out to sea and across the River Deben towards the impressive Bawdsey Manor. The sights and sounds of the sea and a choice of kiosks along the route with outdoor seating make this a very enjoyable day out.  There are many benches along the route should you wish to rest and admire the views for a while.  At Felixstowe Ferry you will find a pub, cafe and seasonal kiosks.  Please note the path surface changes after the first Martello Tower and the route many not be suitable for some wheelchairs.  Care must be taken as there is a drop down to the beach from the promenade.  A foot ferry service takes you across to Bawdsey (not suitable for wheelchair users).
