
A 3¼ mile option from walk 1 using a short cut. Note: after the church there has been some new house builds, the route can still be followed in the same general direction. The leaflet features 2 stunning circular walks with varying options.
Gislingham’s recorded history starts in 910 A.D when a Norseman, Gisling started a settlement, probably on the site of an existing Saxon village. The Church of St Mary the Virgin is around 900 years old and is Grade 1 listed.
