A 3 mile circular walk starting from Rattlesden Village Hall, taking you on a journey of footpaths, tracks, fields and pedestrian pathways. Enjoy the view of the valley and church, and pause to enjoy the man-made lagoon that is a haven for wildlife. The leaflet features 2 walks that can be combined to make a longer hike.
Rattlesden is thought to be where the Caen stone landed for the building of Bury St Edmunds Abbey. Look out for the whalebones which straddle the River Rat, and take time to visit St Nicholas Church with over 800 years of history.
